I opened my hatch last a couple of weeks ago and noticed something that I never noticed before. In the trunk area, on the left side wall, there is a cutout on the material. It looks like a plastic cover for a speaker or maybe a light is missing. It's just a 4"x6"ish quasi-rough cutout.

Did I perhaps accidently rip it off while pulling out my hockey bag? Was it forgotten by Lexus? Or is that normal?

I've had it since April and just noticed it now? If nobody knows what I am talking about, I will take pictures of it later.

So did someone steal my amp or is there no grill for people who did not get the upgraded speaker package?

I have the 6 disc player that comes with the Canadian Premium package upgrade.

premium package should have a amp.

As you can see from my picture, the amp is on the left with Canadian Audio Package upgrade.

Seems like you would notice that when you picked up your vehicle. Do you think it might have been knocked out when removing cargo?

I think I would have noticed it at some point between pickup and before I actually saw it - so it must have been knocked off. But where? I haven't seen a piece of plastic floating around the trunk or on the driveway.

I guess I'll go to the dealer to order a replacement. I hope it's not a $90 part!

Maybe I'll just Velcro the first aid kit over the hole!

Although the CT passed the "hockey bag" test for us it is a very tight squeeze gitting my son's Grit stand up bag in the back so I could see it coming off that way. I will have to watch for it on mine now.
I hope you locate it, or can probably get it ordered. I think there is a thread that had a diagram of all the stereo parts and part numbers, maybe your missing piece is in the diagram to help you order.

Went to play hockey last night and decided to pull everything out of the hatch before leaving. Sure enough, there was my missing piece under the tonneau cover on top of the spare! Must have fallen out when I was changing to my spare!

Wasn't that nice a piece probably not more than $10. But ya never know!
