So I found today that my CT won't arrive until "sometime between beginning of December and mid-January"... I ordered June 27. So that's looking like a minimum of 5 - 6.5 month wait! WTF?

It sparked a question in my mind regarding how long everyone else has waited for, trying to figure the longest wait time ever! (for presumably the best car on the face of planet earth!! )

10 days - test drove on release date back in March. Car was on boat to New York - picked up 10 days later.

I was originally told September - October, so I decided to follow up. Meh - it is what it is!! 10 days doesn't sound so bad

I ordered mine from Erin Park Lexus on Sept 11, was told late Nov, recently I heard Jan which I am not too happy about..

Got the VIN yesterday, the car is currently somewhere between Japan and L.A. so once it's in port, prepped and delivered it will have been 195 days.

I don't feel so bad now, ordered mine right before the earthquake/tsunami and got it mid June, 3 month wait (I was told it would be one month).

Same dealer - I ordered mine late June and was told Sept-Oct. I didn't believe it when I heard it in the first place, because if they are giving a date so far out, they are really saying "we don't have a clue, but we want you to buy this car right now".

It will be worth the wait and I'm in no rush.

Wow - 195 days... so nearly 6.5 months?? I think mine's on the same pace... just craziness.

I think you should try to find a alternative to the one you order.......like a touring one

Ordered mine May 1st, 2011. Received VIN from my dealership on 9/24/2011.

So far as of today it has been:
5 Months OR
164 Days OR
23.43 Weeks

The miracle of excel's datedif function making the agony worse by giving me the .43 weeks....

Picking my 2012 up at the dock today after about 6 weeks from the time I placed my deposit...live on the Big Island of Hawaii. The first 2012s arrived in Honolulu on Sept. 16, but Lexus wouldn't release them for delivery until Oct. 1. Anyone else have a 2012 yet?

Mine was ordered August 16th and I'm being told December delivery.

I love it. Somebody in Europe using the word y'all. Makes me feel good.

I first ordered in May and that one was due in November. I changed my mind when I saw the new color and delayed my order by one month. Seems like once things got moving, all orders are coming to port. It makes little difference if you ordered in May or September.
