It should be in Jacksonville on the 29th, and to NC a few days later. I can't wait, although now I need to sell my RX 300, which has been a great car. I can't believe my husband agreed to the yellow. I got the black nuluxe and premium audio.

Am I the only one who likes the yellow? :)

Congrats! I like it because it's unique. My husband actually likes this color the best. None of the local dealers had this color for us to see in person though. ;-( I'm sure it will look GREAT in the sunlight too. ;-)

I'llpost a pic when I get it

I have a VIN number now - and arrival date is still scheduled for the 29th - 2nd into Jacksonville. Once they install the dealer accessories at the port, (premium floor mats, etc.) the status changes to "freight" and it's on its way to north Carolina. The salesman said it's the only Daybreak Yellow Mica destined for the entire Southeast region. Guess it will stand out.

I'll post some pictures when I get it. I am assuming around 7-15th of April.

Kitchensink, not a fan of yellow cars (includes the LFA, Gen1 IS, Nissan Z, Sentra SER, Mustang, Miata, Celica, and the list goes on) BUT, there's something about the metallic lustre of the Daybrek mustardy color that I honestly really love on the CT.

Curious if you don't mind me asking what your age is (you can reply to the age demographic thread in this forum if you like) as one would assume this color would appeal to the 20-somethings. Maybe you can prove me wrong! ;) I'm 35.

I'm 46 and like yellow, then again my other car is this....

I just haven't seen the Daybreak Yellow in person yet to see if I will like it or not. I thought Fire Agate looked nice in the photos but left me flat in person. I like black of course too with the caramel interior.

Let's just say my kids are your age and leave it at that. I am 20 something at heart. I was hoping not to ruin the age average on buyer's age forum. I did just hire a 26 year old - does that count?
Ms Kitchensink: You are tooo cute!! haha

Ken: Darn it... stop showing off. Seriously, Mr .Dude, that is super NICE!! (sizzle..sizzle) ;-)

Thanks, but that is my track toy that I teach with and occassional daily driver. Works great for me, not so great when I have two kids to take someplace. (It's a 2 seater and the trunk isn't legal! :) )

So I need to find a kid hauler and I'd like one that gets good gas mileage.

BTW if KU would have won yesterday (which they should have, such a fluke), I would have come down to Houston this week and stayed with friends for the Final 4. Sadly that's not happening now...

haha Yes, a very nice toy...for sure. Hmmn, I'm not sure if I would want any novices behind that wheel. ;-) I love those wheels. BTW, nope the trunk is not a seat. hehe

Yes, I think the CT accomplishes both very nicely.

Yep, you missed hanging out in Houston by 10 points (I think). That sucks big time.

Those wheels were custom made a couple years back. We got the people who make wheels for Champion Motorsports to make them in 18" with the proper offsets for us. They are forged on the strongest wheel press in the world (located in Japan actually) and are very light, something like 15lbs for the front wheels and 18lbs for the rears if I remember correctly. I don't normally use them for track wheels but that day we were testing at VIR on street tires for a suspension before/after test.

You can read about it here:
