i just noticed last night that if i walk near the car (maybe ~3-4 ft proximity) without touching it, but have the carkeys in my pocket, the interior lights go on. when i walk away, they go off after a few seconds. is this a standard feature in any Lexus?

Yes it is standard, you will also notice that the puddle lights come on under the mirrors.

I was just reading about that... says only the Dealer can switch that feature on and off.
I'd like to get rid of that Reverse Beeping alert

me too...so annoying...like, duh?!, i'm the one who put it in reverse so of course i know it's in reverse!

it's not like the guy behind me can hear it either....
