36 one-way mile commute via public transit isn't so fun. But at least I can try to sleep on the Metro! (key word: TRY)

Look on the bright side. If you get mugged down there in the L.A. area taking public transit, you won't have far to go for medical assistance since you'll be able to treat yourself!
