Just wondering what sort of incentives i can expect and the rules that apply. I would normally qualify for the new grad, however not sure if i can use that when purchasing a used Lexus? Also i see they have an incentive for luxury owner, my dad owns an acura, would that qualify me since i still live at home? Also, i thought i heard that owning a Toyota could qualify you for the loyalty program? Not sure if that is accurate. Is there anything else i should be aware of? Thanks

I do believe that in order to get the $1000 off you need to have owned a Lexus.
Not 100% sure though
As for the college grad-- this one is a pain to get. you need to be a new graduate and have a job or job offer. good luck

I was able to get the grad one as I was enrolled in a graduate program at the time of purchase. The dealership asked for all kinds of evidence, but they granted the discount. You would have to check online to make sure the offer is still valid (i.e. not expired). Best of Luck!

Here is the webpage:

Lexus College Grad Rebate

Looks like the $1000 rebate is only for New Lexus. It would be hard to find a certified used CT anyway. It is barely a year old, and with the Tsunami, there aren't too many 2011 CT out there to begin with. I did a quick search and the only used CT in my area is listed not much cheaper than a new one!

There is also military discount of $750 if you qualify.

Thanks for the replies. Another question kind of related. I just came across this deal
2011 Lexus CT 200h $29,999 - - Dealert is the premium with leather package (which also included upgraded audio). It's at a toyota dealership and it's used, would i still qualify for the grad rebate? The link that was posted above says it only applies to new lexus, but a dealer near me says any lexus on their website. Since it's a toyota dealership, not sure if any kind of incentive would apply. I'm trying to figure out if it'd be better to get a new with same features and try to negotiate price down to the price i want to pay, or jump on the used deal with the features i want with no rebates.

The Lexus grad discount is thru Lexus Financing. Toyota Financing has their own grad discount program but very similar and only to new Toyota excluding hybrid. I don't think you would get that buying an used Lexus at Toyota dealership. You could ask.

Your best bet is to ask at the dealership. These incentives are usually promulgated in a message that is sent to the dealership and reproduced for some (but not all) of the salespeople which sometimes keep them in a loose leaf binder.

On the other hand, if they tell you that it is available, even if it is not, they have enough fluff build in that they COULD give you that incentive, so first, find the car you want, then start your investigation as to possible incentives.

Whatever was last month might not still be available and most salesmen don't have a clue as to what is really available.

Just got an email from my dealership:

IF YOU CURRENTLY OWN OR LEASE A BMW, MERCEDES-BENZ, AUDI, ACURA, INFINITI, CADILLAC, LINCOLN, JAGUAR, LAND ROVER, BUICK, VOLVO OR PORSCHE WE'LL GIVE YOU A $1,500 "LUXURY OWNER REWARD" AND YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO TRADE IT IN!

I don't think they're giving the loyalty discount right now but instead what they're calling the "conquest" which, as mentioned applies to other luxury brands. I kept banging the drum about loyalty but they wouldn't give me bupkis! YMMV:)

Ditto ... We couldn't get the loyality discount either even though we bought our IS last November. But they did give us the conquest discount for trading in our Infiniti for the CT. Was hoping to be eligible for both but no such luck.
