I will be ordering my new CT200h in a few days, but I cannot for the life of me decide which options to choose for the interior and exterior. Can anyone provide an opinion? But I think I have narrowed it down to either obsidian or matador red mica for the exterior, and either black nuluxe or ecru for the interior. The dealership near me only had 1 CT, which was starfire pearl with black leather interior, so I couldn't see any other options in person. Any thoughts or suggestions on color combinations??

Thanks!

I have Obsidian with Ecru...it's nice but wasn't my first choice...but a couple of months ago, you were just happy to find a CT to buy. I live the Caramel interior. However, between those two colors you chose, either would look great with the Ecru interior. To me, the black interior doesn't have any contrast. At least with the Ecru, you get black accents and a nice contrast.

Thanks for the opinion. I think you are absolutely right about black not having the contrast. When I test drove the pearl one with the black leather interior, I did notice that. My main concern with getting the Ecru is getting it dirty. Have you found that it resists getting dirty and/or cleans well?

Interiors - All the are beautiful with all available exterior colors... I personally would never again buy a tan/caramel inter ion or grey like I have in the past. Anything but black will get filthy over time.

Exteriors - Starfire Pearl, Smoky Granite or Obsidian

I don't know about that, I have had light gray or tan leather on every car I've owned and never had one get filthy. I guess it depends on how you use it, what you carry around, etc. Leather quality in today's cars has gotten so cheap it wipes off like vinyl.

Nuluxe IS some sort of vinyl so it should really clean easily. It's a new product so nobody knows for certain how it will perform. The ecru is very popular and looks great. I was worried it might stain. When I first saw the caramel color I hated it, way to orange for me. The more I see it, the better I like it. It seems to have more character than the ecru which seems almost off white. The black seat belts and carpet look good with the caramel too.

The darker color car with the caramel looks classy to me. But, what do I know? I've changed my mind on my own order right at the last minute. It's a delima. :D

If you want to see the matador red. Just look at an IS or RX. They offer that color in them. At least you get an idea what that color looks like. I would go with the black interior. True, it is monotone. But, it resists any stains or looking dirty.

I love any car in silver and in my case, tungsten pearl... very sharp! I have water gray leather interior which looks more white than gray.

I don't know... I can't decide if I like the caramel color or not. This will be my first "luxury" car so I am trying to be classy yet sporty and young all at the same time. I was thinking the ecru says classy.
Ecru SCREAMS classy...that's what I have. The caramel is nice...I had an Audi A6 back in 2005 with leather in the same color as the caramel...you will never get sick of ecru though.

So I ended up ordering the Red Matador w/Ecru interior back in September... I'm patiently awaiting its arrival! It's been built and now supposedly it is on the truck from Chicago to Cincinnati as of today (Built in Japan, shipped over on the vessel Texas Highway to Portland, OR, then railed to Chicago). Hopefully I will be picking it up next week!

It is purely down to preference. My own favourites are white pearl or blue pearl paint with black fabric seats ( because the seats are more warm when you initially sit in the car in the winter and conversly cooler in the summer or black leather just purely for looks!
Somebody somewhere must really like that solar bronze colour... but TBH I would never choose it.

You don't identify your country but in the US we don't get fabric seats in any model and we don't get solar bronze
