How to remove stock head unit?

I would like to add the alpine ktp-445 power pack amp to my ct200h head unit. I have the base stereo which sounds ok after I changed the dash speakers to kicker 3.5 inch units.
I used the alpine previously in my previous car and it made a huge difference.
I find the volume output from the stock stereo is lacking.
Since the car is leased I do not want to do major upgrades.
I have found the metra adapters which will allow me to avoid cutting any of the cars wiring. They are the 70-1761 and 71-1761.
How do I remove the stock radio? Has anyone posted any steps or pics?
Any help would be appreciated.

just to give you a heads up...when you go to plug the 71-1761 harnes into your factory radio you will need to use a little more force to push the plugs in. It's been that way with Toyota/Lexus radios pretty much since the 71-1761 harness was made.

the next step would be to replace the speakers also. that makes a huge difference.

Thanks for the reply. I could not download the service manual for the instructions on how to remove the head unit. Anybody have a functioning link. Also, is there any room behind the stock stereo to leave the small alpine power pack?
