Pretty easy how to if you want to disable the sound generator when your in EV mode.

1. For easiest access I would drop the front bumper

2. On the driver side behind the fog light there is a circular speaker looking thing (technical term)

3. Unplug it

4. Reassemble

I haven't been able to use the EV mode in the three months I've had the CT. Can the noise be heard from within the car? I like to avoid hitting pedestrians whenever possible so I'll leave it alone.

so all this would be doing is cancelling the slight noise that it makes? it wouldnt effect the way anything operates in a technical aspect correct?

WHY? I actually want the CT to sound like Star Trek spaceship.

From a liability perspective, if you unplug your pedestrian warning system, then I hope you don't ever actually hit a blind person or you are going to get sued every way possible. LOL
