Taking a couple of road trips this summer and want to take the bikes along, but otherwise don't plan on using them much. Went to REI and they suggested either the Yakima KingJoe Pro2 or the Thule Gateway if we're not going to use the racks a lot - much cheaper than roof racks. Have roof racks on the Jeep for shorter trips.

Anyone have experience with these racks or others that you would recommend?

Also, can the rear wiper be used with the rack and bikes attached?

Hi,

Nice to meet another CT owner with a KHS. I have two bikes a Hard tail KHS and a Yeti Full. I bought a Thule 9003 but unfortunately three days after bought the car and previous to the Thule arrive I broke my clavicle so I couldn’t test the Thule with the CT yet.

I'll Let you know as soon as I mount the rack in the car.

Trunk Rack

Hi All

Finally today I tested the Thule 9003 in my CT, Attached some pictures. In the future I will add some padding to the top cables just to be sure with the paint but everything seems to be right.
