...would completely ruin the aesthetics in the entire vehicle, forcing you to go buy a CR-Z.
Seriously, the two shafts look to be the same diameter (and this is after a week of studying shafts - Anthony Wiener, anyone?).Don't worry. I promise I won't trash the vehicle if the new shift knob turns out to be ugly. I'll just put the original back on.
Anyway,...yes, it looks much nicer than a Prius shift knob, but I still don't quite like the looks of it overall. Looks like the cleaning rods I use for firearms.
And, thank you...for taking the long trek to your driveway and confirming the shafts are the same size.
That's a pretty nice size. And the "ball end" look doesn't seem too bad. Now I'm wondering how it'd look with a black arcade style joystick ball at the end.I changed my shift knob 3 times and like the last one. The first two I bought and did not like them. The first one had LED lights that were too bright. I bought a second one that was nice black leather but looked a little too big. These all come with an insert that will fit the smaller diameter. The last one is home-made. I had a nice mini baseball and I painted it black and drill a hole in it and screwed it on.
If only my name was Tom...
$95 for a plastic ball!?
