Hi everyone!

I have a Samsung Note 5 in a Otterbox Defender case and I would love to mount the phone where the electronic device holder sits and have the phone pointed towards me. I have a cheapo Monoprice Mini 3d printer and have seen the extender of the device holder available for printing, but not the bottom part. Has anyone designed and/or printed the base? I'm not to fluent in CAD design from scratch and not really willing to pay the OEM price for something that is won't fit my phone anyways.

You can get a 3D printed bracket extension for the device holder here: Lexus CT200h updated bracket for larger phones (VNTGU9MFP) by kfischer
That being said, I'd rather use a different option, the device holder is expensive and it holds the phone too low.
I use a vent clip for mine, keeps it at a better eye level.

Thanks for your reply. That's true it would be mounted pretty low. I'll look into that CD mounted magnetic holder mentioned in another thread and see if that works.
