Has anyone tried removing light scratches from the door panels, or any other trim pieces in the car? There's a little bit of scuff marks towards the bottom of the door panels I wanted to try and get rid of it. I also have very light scratching on the dash I was hoping I could reduce.

I was going to buy some 3,000 grit sandpaper, but I didn't want to make it worse before doing some research.

I saw a YouTube video about using Mother's Mag & Aluminum Polish on piano black trim, tried it and it worked very well.
