Put my car through a touch-free car wash yesterday, then left the car outside all night. The temp went down overnight to about -8 C. When I got in the car about 6:00 am, the exterior door handle would not return to the closed position to latch the door shut after I opened the door. Yikes. I had to drive a short trip and hold the door shut. Later on in the day everything was fine again.
Just a moisture problem I think. No need to see the dealer?

Make sure the gas flap opens. That would be very embarrassing.

If u can Get an extension cord out there u could have used a hair dryer to defrost the mechanism.
