...and I had to go a long way to see it.

I've had my CT since they were first released and have been driving the streets of southern California without seeing so much as a glimpse of another one.

This past week, we were on vacation in Arizona and were visiting the Grand Canyon. We were sitting outside eating lunch and my daughter says "Dad, there goes your car". I look up and see a white CT pull into the parking lot and into a spot near my car. I watch a couple get out and notice them looking in the direction of my car.

I ran over to say "Hi" and it turns out that they came up from Houston and were as surprised as I was to see another CT. It was their first sighting too. They were planning on getting a Prius, but fell in love with the CT after a test drive.

I have had mine for a month in Maryland and still have yet to see another one. Looking to find some local enthusiasts.
I just got mine on Saturday and have put about 200 miles on with no other sightings in the DC area, but my wife said she saw one like mine, Fire Agate Pearl, yesterday.

BTW, Rehabmax, I'm a Maryland guy too.

You know, it's funny because I'm a bit paranoid of people messing with it since it is so new, but strangely enough, over the weekend not one person seemed to be phased by the car. I feel like it looks similar enough to the Toyota Matrix or Mazda 3 to the point that unless people know what it is, they don't really give it a second look...

On the down side, I went to get an LEV tag for my parking garage and the model is so new that it isn't on the list yet. Luckily a helpful person gave me an email where I could write and just alert them to the model so I could get the tag down the road.

Some people will stare, and others will not. The daytime running LEDs on a black car with tint do bring a lot of attention I find, makes the car look sinister

No one will stare in Toronto haha, only once did I get a notice, some teens were looking over and pointing, probably because I had just detailed the car and it was spotless. (Or because I look pretty young :/)

I came up behind my twin (Fire Agate Pearl) at a stoplight in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte last night. My wife (riding shotgun) immediately ribbed me about driving such a "unique" car and then piled on some more when she saw that the driver was a minimum of 30yrs older than me. She also commented how much better mine looks with the windows tinted, though. It's the only thing we agreed upon the whole night long.

Rise&Demise-- you get yours through Hendrick? How long from order to delivery? I put a deposit with them yesterday and have been on the Flow Winston-Salem list for a couple weeks since they didn't require deposit. I haven't seen a single one on the road yet around here......... (work across from South Park Mall).

Yes, got mine from Hendrick. I put a deposit on mine the day after the first ct's arrived on the lot. They didn't have the color combo I wanted but were able to locate one in the area. The car was transferred to Hendrick only a couple days later. This, of course, was before any supply disruptions. I guess it's a different ball game now. Great dealership, though.

I'm occasionally at the South Park Mall but my commute runs from the SC line to uptown. I've only seen that one other on the roads of Charlotte but there must be a few more lurking in the shadows.
