So I'm at work showing it to a couple of people...got the same reaction...they look at the bamboo wood and think is that all the wood in the car. I explain it's a $30K car.....they tell me it would look better in black like the rest of the panels...they don't even know I changed it to bamboo....I don't care...it's personal taste and I like the bamboo.

Anyone else have the clear bra on their car? I think it is too noticeable on the hood...it comes up farther than I thought...about 1/3 of the way up from the bumper...I guess it's better than road bugs and chips but the line is very noticeable....not too sure I like that.

By the way, I checked the build date of my car which just arrived at the dealership in Massachusetts on May 16th and it said 3/11...they don't put a day but being that it just arrived and was built in March, I have to think there are very few cars in the country that were produced since the tsunami...I may be wrong but I'm thinking I'm not. Wow...where was this car for 2 months?

Probably at the port or shipping overseas. Where's the build date? I wanna check on my car!

When you open the drivers door, look on the little black plate (not on the door but on the car) that says everything on the car meets federal standards according to the build date shown above...the month and year should be on the first line I think...let me know when yours was built...but had to be like January or February for yours as you have had it for awhile.

Congrats man! So did it come down from MA free of chips & blemishes? Any idea what type of clear bra they used/product name? There are so many out there and not every dealer is going to be using the same one. I'm getting it installed as well, it's called Auto-Bahn I think. Picking up my CT Tuesday night, it just arrived at the dealer yesterday! Oh, and I found a buyer for my G35, getting $2,500 more than the dealer offered me to trade it! BOOO YAAAAH!

Yes, that is the one I got...it is Autobahnd...when you get yours, tell me what you think. I didn't realize the bra came up so far on the hood...looks like a line across the almost center of the hood....it works but looks funny.
