Hey all,

My driver's side fender liner came loose and fell off while I was driving on the highway. It went from a rattle to a clunking sound, and then the whole thing just ripped off off before I had a chance to pull over. Basically the whole plastic piece ripped off, and I can see clear through to the underside of the fender panel and the underside of the car. Lexus wants $700 to replace it, but I'd rather order my own part and have my local body shop install it.

I ordered the following part: https://www.partsgeek.com/ss/?i=1&ssq=inner+fender+lexus+ct200h&x=0&y=0 -- but I'm not sure whether that's all I need. I'm thinking I'll also need new clips. Is anyone familiar with the fender assembly, and might know whether I need to order anything else?

I had the same thing happen, and also was quoted a RIDICULOUS amount by Lexus. I haven’t ordered the liner yet for fear of needing additional parts. My local mechanic can take care of installation I just want to be sure I get him the parts. Definitely following let us know the results!

I replace my liner. I went through the parts list and bought all new clips.
I had one broken plastic tab on the body that the liner ciips to. I fixed the tab with a cheap plastic welder kit. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00B1FKCGA/
Installing the liner is really easy.
If you lost your old liner, then you also need to buy the air deflector that bolts to the front bottom of the liner. If you have your old liner, you can remove the air deflector and use it for the new liner. Lexus calls it a fender liner pad, item #10 on the diagram from lexus.

This tells you all the part numbers for the bolts and clips, if you need new ones.
