Woah, sorry to hear that. How fast were you going when you did it and how quickly did the car stop? Did you hear any bad noises?

Wow! The car just stops when the park button is pressed? I thought you had to have the foot on the brake to make it work.
Sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing, though.

i have found there is really no need to use the EV button - when you brake and are going slow enuf the EV indicator light pops up and you can then coast very gently (don't exceed >28-30 mph) and you will basically be staying in EV mode without having to press the button. everytime i go EV, i end up accelerating too fast and it knocks me out of it anyways.....has been pretty useless to me.

If you drive the car and accidentally press the park-button the car dosnt brake! It blink and make noise and go into something like neutral. Easy to just put the drive in and continue.. done it a few times when fibbling with the ev-button but cant say its easier to miss than to miss a gear in a manual transmission.. so no real problem imo. Goes quite quick to learn where the two buttons are located.

I thought at first that it was positioned there because it went from EV -> ECO -> Normal -> Sport. But from this picture that is not the case, it is positioned beside the Sport in RHD models. Guess they just wanted the position on the drivers side regardless. It is pretty close to the Park button.

Yeah. I have done that before. Also, if you're going fast, I don't think it goes into neutral, only if you're cruising slowly. I think I've hit it inadvertently when going 70 mph before.

I have also hit it going 10 mph, and it did kick me into neutral and flash yellow lights at me. LOL.
