It doesn’t sound serious but is a bit annoying and concerns me slightly cause I haven’t noticed it before maybe I just somehow didn’t notice?

It starts in the video around 1:15 when the car switches to ev mode and I accelerate forward on a hill in the video

Sounds normal. I have an RC rock crawler that makes the same noise when the power is initially applied, just part of the electrical wizardry that happens. BTW, that looks like robot's face, lol

Huh, I can't say I've ever heard those sounds with mine.

That's normal. That's the sound all CT's and prius make when driving in EV mode.

Mine whines like that when in park with the ICE off while I open our gate to drive in

To clarify, I can hear the usual EV low-speed noise whir. It's that high-pitched frequency switching around when the whir goes away that I've never heard before on mine.

It sounds the same as our 2011 model, must be a normal sound
