I'm in the US planning a trip to Canada. I'm unable to search for Canadian destinations online. The dropdown menu includes only US states. The manuals describe how to change regions in the car, but there are no instructions for online searches.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Found the answer in the fine print at the back of the "Onboard Communications" manual: edestination and destination assist don't work in Canada for US cars.
