Ran across this today and did a search on here to see if anyone has mentioned it. The product is called EcoFuelSaver. It is an additive that you add to all types of gas, and work with both gas & diesel engines. It is advertised to extend fuel mileage by up to 30%. It also reduced emissions. I was wondering if anyone knows more about this, if anyone has used this, or mechanical engineers could explain just how this works. :)

On the bottle it read that it doesn't void engine warranty and that even if you put to much additive per fuel amount it won't cause the engine any harm.

I've attached a link to their website if anyone wanted to read up on it any further http://ecofuelsaver.com/

he big question is, if this actually works and doesn't cause any damage, and one could extend fuel mileage by 30% that would mean some of CTers could get up to ~54 MPG (from the 43 MPG combined advertised).

The big question is, if this actually works and doesn't cause any damage, why in the world wouldn't every manufacturer make this stuff up by the tanker full and save a gazillion dollars in complying with the upcoming federal gas mileage requirements. It would probably cost them about 7cents per bottle to make.
