That doesn't look too bad. Of course for a little more money (literally like $20-$30 more) you can get the illumniated door sills and install them yourself.

Looks closer! I already have the OEM Illuminated door sill that comes with the F-sport option. This is to dress up the plastic part of the inner door sill with Stainless steel sill.

Looks good. How far do they stick up? I would be worried about catching my shoe on one of the corners.

Adding another thickness of about 16 gauge on top of your plastic scuff will not make a difference in height. They comes with 3-M tape on the back of the steel plates and attached directly to the plastic sill.
