Door Edge Protectors?

Any car parts store (pep boys, Advance, Discount, etc etc) or even Amazon will have a transparent or translucent edge molding with adhesive in the groove that you can buy in strips long enough to go down the height of the door. I got some of this clear plastic stuff, cut off three or four inches and put it on the bottom trailing edge of passengers door on my other car which is even lower than the CT. Wasn't even noticeable unless you lean over and looked. If the other edge hits too you could actually put two pieces, one on the back edge and one on the bottom. Not all that noticeable, cheap and if you hate it you can take it off and throw it away with little regret. They also come in colors, but unless you have black or white you probably want the clear one.
