Does this happen to your CT?

hi guys,

just wondering if this is happening to your CT like it is happening to mine.

when i start the car it is completely dead silent. like it should be. but then after about 5 seconds then engine will turn on...and i will see my L/100km go up.. and i havent even moved yet!

if i wait for a minute or two, then engine will turn off again.. so my initial thought was the engine was just warming up.. but im not sure.. hopefully i can get some answers here!

Yes, all CT's do that. If you drive for 4-5 minutes, close the engine an start it again, it will not do it. So we can assume it's the engine warming up

It's a function of the charge state of the battery.

If you want to stop it doing that to may be just move the car out of the garage or similar just press the EV button within 5 seconds of starting the car then it won't do it.
Unless your battery is low or you go over a certain speed.

Or if your car is starting up from a cold start.
