bump - has no one had to do this on their own (or figured out how to)?

I did it last week with the instructions in the manual (it is in there...look). It entails using the trip reset button and power button simultaneously and the instructions in the manual aren't crystal clear, but you will figure it out.

From the manual

Reset the maintenance data (U.S.A. only)

  • After the requiredmaintenance is preformed according to the maintenance schedule, please resetthe maintenance data. To reset the data, follow the procedures described below:
  • Switch the displayto the trip meter “A” (→P. 193) when the hybrid system is operating.
  • Turn the “POWER”switch off.
  • While pressing thetrip meter reset button (→P. 193), turn the “POWER” switch to ON mode (do notstart the hybrid system because otherwise the reset mode will be canceled).Continue to press and hold the button until the trip meter displays “000000”and the multi-information display indicates that the reset is complete.

This procedure doesn't work for our 2012 CT, not listed in our manual either... Anyone know how to reset this on the 2012? Many thanks.

It did work on a 2012 CT200h, make sure to put your foot on the brake while holding the reset Trips A down and then the power switch on. It will start but you should see dashes in the Trip A window indicating that it is resetting the maintenance message. By the way, it doesn't look like the oil change is required until 20.000 miles, just the inspections.

Tweek is correct. You have to follow the directions Step-by-Step EXACTLY. ... like putting you foot on the brake.

Just did this on a 2015 and it worked fine...

Foot on brake
Powered on
Switched to Trip A
Powered off
Hold trip reset button
Powered on, holding the reset button until the maintenance data is completely reset
