I need to know which way the puddle lamp socket faces. Not the actual plastics outside, but the contacts inside. Hope someone can help me. Thank you in advance!

Unfortunately, none of those photos provide an answer to my question. I wanted to know the orientation of the slot for the 194 bulb inside the socket. The one with him holding the socket with an LED in it is as close as I've found, but I can't see which way the wedge base runs.

I am considering it, yes. I'm currently running Philips Vision LEDs, which are the best 194 LEDs on the market for most cases. But there is no reflective surface inside the puddle light, so the Vision bulb firing into the side isn't ideal.

These are bonkers bright, and a nice pure white with no blue tinge. I run one in my trunk light (which is 194, not DE3022 for some reason). They're one sided too, the other side has a heat sink.
