Noticed that sometime I have to hold the shift lever in position for an extra second to engage a gear (or put in neutral) if I just tap it (e.g. like a paddle shifter) sometimes it's too quick. Is this standard? common? Do certain shifts (N-R) require being on the brake? By the way... first time out today, mixed driving some highway some suburban got (on the gauge) 49 MPG. Yes I was driving like an old lady!
