Hi!
Does anyone know how/have a link to breakdown our CT's VIN? I would be interested in finding out what number my car is off the line, when it was produced, etc!

This is why we have Google :p:p:p:p

Still not sure you can determine what build number you were. The last 5 digits can be a sequential code starting with the first car built, but doesn't have to be).

My last 5 digits say I'm around 9,000. Have they even sold 9000 of these or is that number not real? I bought one of the first cars around here.
My last 5 digits are 20409 so that doesn't sound right.
As a reference my wife's car is # 6943 manufactured in January 2011.

She took delivery March 16, 2011.

The last 5 numbers of the VIN are 06943 ?

audi4t, mine is 08162, so that's interesting! but doesn't jive with GreatDane?

On a side note, I also have a premium fire agate! leather and premium sound packages as well!
Mine shows 01/11 and took delivery in March (first one from the dealer)
Mine is #12162, purchased March 18th, 2011, build date is 2/2011.

Like I said, mine is in the 9000's and my build date is also 2/11. I'm having a hard time believing they built 3000+ in one month.

Maybe the number is padded at the end and mine is really 900 and your's is ~1200. That would make a little more sense.

Interesting! I would be interested in getting some confirmation on this one. We can even start compiling a list of the VINs from earliest to most current, with each owner's location!
I just realized something. On the door sticker with the VIN, there's a number in the lower right corner. Mine's 900 something. If I'm not mistaken, Lexus uses that number to label the sequential number for that car in that specific line (CT 200h). The last 6 digits of the VIN are where your car was in your assembly line, which could have included other Lexus models. Which plant were our cars made in? I know it wasn't CT exclusive, so that would account for the high last 6 digits, since it includes other Lexus models in the sequential numbering. If everyone could please check their driver's side door sticker with the VIN and list the number on the lower right corner with their build date, that would be awesome.
01/11, 162 (next to a large 'A' on the lower right of the label)
Mine's 597.
Does this picture help? (Or should I not put a picture of the VIN on the internet??)
I have 269 B and the VIN ends in 1714.
OH - my manufacture date is 1/11
01/11 lower right hand number is 021
Does this picture help? (Or should I not put a picture of the VIN on the internet??)
So, is this a build date of 12/10 (top right corner), and car number 676 (bottom right)?
