I have a 2012 CT with 18,000 miles and a few weeks ago the vinyl dash covering peeled up around the lower right part of the start button. It is now stretched across part of the button outer ring. I called the dealer and they never heard of this happening (of course) but have not had time to take it in as I consider it low priority and it is not getting worse. Has anyone else had this happen?

Take it back and let them look at it. No matter how "rare" this is, it irritates you to own a luxury vehicle with defects. My dealer has bent over backwards for me
X2...
it's under warranty, get them to fix/replace it.

I took it in to the dealer and told them the TSB number. They replaced the "hood sub-assembly" which means the entire part surrounding the start button that continues across and over the instrument cluster. It took 2 days as they had to order the part. Then during their usual trying to find something to fix they can charge for inspection they listed my tires as 5/32 which if true would indicate they are half worn at 20,000 miles

The NHTSA web site lists TSBs and describes their content but this one is not yet listed as it is never current.

My Lexus CT200H, 2011 too have the same problem. Initially the agent fit it, but two months later the same problem appeared. Local Lexus agent is will to replace the whole set, but it will take at least 2 weeks to order this part from Japan.

I have a 2011 model, and just experienced the same exact issue recently. After visiting this board, I brought the car to the dealer and got the part replaced.
Just wanted to contribute! It took a day for them to get the new part. I am in NJ.
