Cupholder light

The dealer does not seem to know much about them so I thought I would ask here. Inside my new ct200 the blue cupholder lights only one (passanger side) works. Is there supposed to be two lights or just the one? Also, is there a way to turn them off. I searched the owners manual and it only states they are on when the vehicle is in Acc mode or On.

They are blue in econo mode and red in sport mode.

The cupholder lights shine down from above. The LEDs are located in the homelink console above the rearview mirror.
