Taken from here:

Much to our surprise, the European-focused Lexus CT200h hybrid that is debuting at the Geneva show will go on sale in the U.S., arriving early in 2011.

We’ve also learned that the car is based on a new platform that isn’t shared with any other Lexus or Toyota products, featuring a wishbone rear suspension and struts up front. The architecture may be used in future Lexus products such as a small crossover, in which case it would use electric motors for an all-wheel-drive setup like that of the RX450h hybrid crossover.

In Europe, the CT200h is being pitched against the likes of the BMW 118d and the Audi A3 TDI in the heart of the premium compact market, so expect a U.S. price around $27,000.

I’m surprised no one has compared the shape to the current gen. Subaru Impreza. Very similar exterior, though I’m sure the CT200h has a much improved interior.
I see the similarity but I HATE the new gen. Impreza. I think the CT200H will be much better. I didn't search, but are there any performance stats kicking around that I haven't seen?
