Wow, such beautiful wheels, great tint. Did you install the HIDs yourself or have it all done at one place?
How would you recommend the place where you had the clear bra and ceramic tint done? I'm looking for ceramic tint in the area but it's hard to trust everything you see on Yelp.
Sorry for the late reply.
I'd fully recommend the place I got my clear bra/tint done at, especially if you are near Los Angeles/Encino. I've been into cars for longer than I can remember and have always had tint on all my cars. Again, quality, price, and workmanship were all great and I really enjoyed that they were solely working on ONE car at a time.
Being a Lexus owner, at least I'd like to think, that we appreciate attention to detail a little more and thus I was relieved to see the same attention to detail in not only their work, but everything else, such as offering wireless internet, so I can do my work while waiting for the tint. It works out as I don't have to waste part of my weekend on this and can get some work done while getting my tint or clear bra.
I wouldn't recommend a place I had a mediocre experience at as those are dime a dozen.
With that said, go get your tint at
unique auto films! Oh, this is my second time getting ceramic tint (out of the 8 cars I've had tinted) and I regret nothing! You can get away with a lighter tint (for legal reasons), while keeping more heat out.
As for the HID's, I installed them myself and bought the kit from
The Retrofit Source. Also, very well worth the premium. The cheaper units ALWAYS have failed bulbs/ballasts or start up flicker problems. Also, we need a special reverse electrode, which they acknowledge and account for. Without a proper HID kit that has the electrode reversed, due to our projector design, you will have a scattered beam pattern.
