I always look at other fellow CTs on the road and noticed some of them have their navigation monitor closed (see pic attached)
I just purchased my 2015 CT this past weekend, I couldn't figure out how to close the monitor.
Is it because it's non F sport? Or is that the older year model?

Thanks in advance!

My understanding is that the picture you provided is not a navigation car, due to no RTI (mouse) on the center console and it has a base stereo, so that compartment is used as a secondary type of glove box.

The only explanation I've seen Lexus provide on the screen staying open on the 14+ models is it's "Instantly available when needed"
It's also thinner, and apparently has a better resolution over the previous screen.

Does anyone who have the newer screen (2014+) and had the older screen prefer the older screen? I liked that it closed, and I liked the buttons and user interface for the older screen a lot more than I like the new ones.
