What would be the first thing you would do to increase the horsepower on this baby?

i can engage ev mode upon startup right away and the motor will not start up as long as the car is being driven at low speeds for short distances.
Are you in EU or US? Would there be a difference in models, seems like us North Americans (who have replied) aren't able to do the same.
giora is correct. when the battery has a good charge, it works. when it is 'low' ev mode right upon startup will not engage and state that the battery level is too low.Battery not charged enough could be due to use of "EV mode" at the end of the previous trip.
Do not think it is related to battery temp.
