Never mind. I looked it up. These super sealants are a profit center. The first one was "Polyglycoat" many years ago. It was a nice sealant which, if you "maintained" it according to their instructions would guarantee your paint against fade, chalking, etc etc. Of course if you did that you could have used bear grease. It cost very little to make and sold for $150 or whatever the market would pay.
What you are really paying for is basically an insurance policy. If you put the money in a piggy bank and waited to see how the paint lasted you would almost certainly be ahead of the game, in my opinion. Most people who take really good care of their cars do not use things like this.
If you like it and can afford it, go for it. It's your car.
