I am the proud owner of a 2011 CT, and want to upgrade my car's appearance by switching from the stock (but still good-looking) wheels to the Trident style OEM wheels (in grey). I've found a good price for a new set of 4 on ebay, but am told that the lugnuts for these wheels are different from the stock wheels. Can anyone direct me to where I can purchase a set for my car, hopefully not from a Lexus dealer (always more expensive). Thanks for any advice you can provide.
I have 2 sets of those wheels and i m using this type of lugnuts but the v shape moves. It s kind of a protection for the wheels. When i m tighten the wheelsm, the v shape acts like a flat washer and doesn't dig into the aluminium.
Yes, they require a different lug nut than the standard rim. Standard uses a shank style and the F-Sport Trident rims use conical-seat lug nuts. Lug stud thread is M12x1.5.
Dorman and Gorilla make sets in steel with a black coating. There are many other options with different materials and finishes.
