Changing tabs in radio, keeps changing the station.

Been trying to search for answers, but to no avail. Is there a way to stop the the station from changing, as I change the tabs to see what else is on? Ex. listening to Nickelback* on some FM station, and then clicking on FM2 or someting to see what else is on, but I still want to hear that Nickelback song while I browse the other stations.

*Nickelback used just as a funny example. Thanks.

I pretty sure this is not possible. Maybe you are used to some sort of computer music software that does this? I've never owned a car that had this ability. What one sees on the display is usually what will play.
