Not sure if anyone else has this issue as I tried searching but the centre console arm rest button that you push to lift up and get into the storage compartment continues to stick in my car. I have to push the button to lift it up, then physically pull the button out of the thing to get it to stay back down. Anyone have this issue and know the fix? I want to see what could be done before I tear it apart or through a bunch of lubricant on it.

I had certified pre-owned warranty, bought a 2011 from a dealer in 2014. This fix was covered under the (USA version) 100,000 mile coverage that came standard with the car. I bought no extra coverage. 95,000km is ~59,000 miles so as long as you have the same sort of coverage you should have this fixed free of charge.

And let me tell you.. the fix is simply amazing. You'll be in shock at how the latch is supposed to work.

Awesome info. I guess I'll go in and see what they say. i really hope they take care of it. It's minor and I've been living with it but I'd realistically like to get these issues solved.

Well. I went in, and they were a bunch of jerks. My car is at 95k and the warranty ended at 80k. I told them it seemed like a known issue since there's a bulletin. They said I should have got the car checked out before buying it. I said i bought it at a Lexus dealership CPO'd. They told me that dealership didn't do a good job. They quoted me $65 for the part plus $60 labor... Guess I'll be stuck with a broken latch for a bit or until I pop by a junk yard.

Have you been going to this dealer the entire time or just started right now for this one issue? In my experience if you use the dealer for all your maintenance they are much more likely to "help" you out with out of warranty things like this. Either way $125 installed sounds very reasonable, I would have done it.
