Well done to these car thugs that have no idea about a decent day's work and live to ruin other people's lives.

They cut the grill to get to the horn cables then cut them so when they jacked the car up the alarm was silent!

I parked at a 'secure' car park which was obviously a terrible car park.

Looks like it'll take over 2months and at least £900 for me to sort this out.

I wonder how secure the cat locks even are. Sounds like they can get through that quite easily too.

You car thugs will suffer one of these fine days as Karma catches up to you.

The cat is not "locked" at all it is bolted to the engine, and they got coolant all over them most likely because it has coolant lines in it that if cut when full it spills all over the place. best way to keep your cat from being stolen again is putting your ct on air suspension and air out when ever you park. I it is expensive but it looks cool and you cant put a jack under a car that is slammed LOL.
Thanks for this.

Is it worth going through insurance for this 🤔
We are looking at over £1,000 damage and they sell the metal off foe a couple of £100

If your insurance covers it use it and get a rental car out of it.
Ours was also stolen a couple of weeks ago. The alarm initially went off but they then cut the wire through the grill.
Car is being picked up today to go into the garage. Been such an inconvenience. I've bought a cat guard off eBay and will install it once the car comes back. No idea if it will stop them but should slow them down if they try again.

Hope the jack fails and crushes these lowlifes one day soon.

My brother is a mechanic and does installs, takes him 3 minutes to go through the solid Cat guard with his sawsall. Look up and compare the fixed one vs wire ones and which is the biggest hassle to remove. Also I thought I read somewhere that Lexus UK was etching them for free. I asked at my local dealer and they said no. Updates appreciated.
