Thinking of adding CarPlay. Ideally I'd like to preserve the original interface / screen on my 2017 (small flat screen / knob control variant) CT but I have some questions which, to be fair, the AliExpress sellers don't grasp so easily... A few of you have done this mod so can hopefully help?

Are there any reasons to go for a complete Android unit over my idea to keep the original?
If I go for it, I'll make a tutorial if possible.

- Preserve the reverse camera
- Preserve the original radio / nav / menu functions
- Work with steering wheel controls
- Work with the cars built in microphones
- Work with the knob / dial control and buttons (all of them)
