Check your jeans. Mine was caused by metal pieces around front jeans pockets. Since my steering wheel sits lower, as I get in/out and turn, the right side jeans pocket metal piece drag along and cut, hence it's always showing up at an angle.

Was your damage similar to what is in my picture?
