I've had my ct for 2-3 weeks now and the rotors seem to have a ridiculous amount of rust on them. Is this normal? I'm assuming it has something to do with the regen braking, but I didn't think it would be this bad after only a couple weeks.

They don't look as bad as it did yesterday, typically the whole outside is covered as well.

its normal brake oxidation, especially more pronounced after it rains and the car sits overnight....
all Lexus models exhibit that....nothing to worry about...

Drive your car the surface rust disappears.

All cars rotors exhibit this appearance - will appear immediately after washing and disappear when you drive off and apply the brakes.

Most rotors need to be replaced b4 100,000 miles

The surface rust near the center of the hub won't disappear, as the pads don't touch there. The rust in between the 2 faces of the rotor won't disappear either...nothings contacting them, the rust should turn less bright orange and darker over time. I noticed this on my CT as well, so it must be normal.
