I'm going with a hitch receiver and the Thule T2 bikerack I have for my 4Runner. I'm finished with roof racks because they take at least 5 minutes to install and remove and they destroy your gas mileage. My T2 comes on and off in the matter of a minute.

I have queried both Thule and Yakima. Neither had a setup for the CT yet, but hopefully they will respond to my email. I'll update the post when I have some information. I wanted to use a hitch mount, but I fear that the low ground clearance plus the rear end design of the car wouldn't work well for the hitch mount. Quentin - Please update us if you mount the hitch receiver. Thanks.

Hey Q, thanks for the info. Have you checked into where and how the hitch receiver would attach to the CT bumper assembly? Is the hitch receiver a standard unit or something purchased from Thule?
I don't yet have a CT, but I was crawling under one at the dealer a few weeks ago (probably not a common sight in the Lexus showroom, haha). There seems to be ample space between the muffler and the bumper cover for a receiver. I'll have to check out under a Prius to see if there is a similar amount of space. I'm going to guess that the Prius hitch will fit with little modification. Since this is a car mostly made for the European market, I'm certain that Lexus Europe will have a hitch available.

Worst case, I'll make my own, particularly since I have a 2" receiver on my 4Runner and I'll need similar or an adapter on the CT.

Bikes are swallowed whole in my wife's Prius; i.e. with both wheels on. I haven't tried it yet with the CT although given that it's 5-6" shorter it's going to be a tight fit. I'm sure a bike will fit in the CT if you remove the front wheel.

YEEEES darn that was hard but I think I found the partnumber for your dear bike holder!
Here is an install-manual:
http://www.toyota-tech.eu/aimupload...SABH bracket PZ408-Z0690-00 AIM 002 013-0.pdf

If I understand the manual right, the partnumber should be PZ408-Z0690-00
Not sure if that is a complete set or not, but at least you can show the manual to the dealer and ask them to fix the price and all for you!?

Hope this helps!

EDIT: Now im confused.. here is one more, hehe perhaps some one can clear this out, this is a start at least
http://www.toyota-tech.eu/aimupload...00692-00 and PZ408-00693-00 AIM 002 012-1.pdf

EDIT 2: I think that partnumber ZWA10T32027 is the partnumber for the complete set. The fist manual is for the holder and the second is for electrical. Got this list:
Bikeholder "Freeride": ZWA10T32025
Bikeholder "Luxury": ZWA10T32026
Bikeholder "Barracuda" (Right): ZWA10T32022
Bikeholder "Barracuda" (Left): ZWA10T32024
Bikeholder "Easy Click" including lights: ZWA10T32027

If anyone gets a North American part number for the rear bike hitch please post. I'm 6'5" and it will be interesting to see if my race bike fits in the back with the sets down and front wheel off. Waiting for my CT expected to arrive in June/July.

Hello Folks! Just ordered our new CT today, so I guess its time to post in some threads and stop just being a lurker :)

I've always purchased hitch gear for vehicles at etrailer.com. Here is the one I'm planning to get for the CT...They've always been pretty easy to install on my past vehicles and it looks pretty simple on the CT as well - You can see the PDF with install instructions at this link as well, on the right side of the page:

Curt Trailer Hitch for Lexus CT 200h 2011 - C11200

BTW, etrailer also sells the bike racks as well.
