Aftermarket Radio

Hi all, recently purchased the new aftermarket dash kit for the my lexus ct200h 2016 and I'm having some problems with installation and wiring for the backup camera. Lexus CT 200h Radio Replacement Upgrade with Aftermaket Navigation - Professional blog for car DVD GPS head units , this is link to it, although the one I bought is off ebay it has all the correct parts. For the installation the head unit, does someone have a picture of how the brackets should look on the radio? Because I believe my bracket placement is wrong if it does not fit. I also do not know how to install the stock amp to the head unit it's pretty much just laying on top right now, do you use the stock part from the stock radio or? And for the backup camera all i have labeled is the rear wire and I wired it together to the red positive wire but if i keep that wired together it blacks my screen. Does anyone know which wires need to be together for the wireless transmitter for my rear view camera to my head unit because I got so frustrated I just started putting wires together and had to go buy a new 7.5 mini fuse because it blew. Help please I have a car in only name right now because the rest of it looks like it got robbed.

Yes, definitely post pictures of what your working with. And label which and what you don't know where it connects.

As for bracket. Use the new bracket a that came with the unit and as badgerP suggested, hook and loop or double sided tape it to the top of the unit and reconnect it. Or else, you may find that you passenger side fro speakers don't work and you'll erroneously think that your unit is defective.

I have a 2015. On my model the emergency communication from the SOS service center is through the passenger side front speakers. In the wiring diagram, the service manual actually shows the wires for front passenger speakers from the radio pass through the telematics and then go to the speakers. Without telematics, only my driver side fronts had sound. I was sure that it was defective, but then I got of a hold of the Lexus diagrams and figured it out.

Right, my 2011 stereo had the telematics unit on top but when I did the android stereo installation I didn't include it. I realized I'd lose XM radio (which I didn't use) but otherwise I didn't see a purpose for it. I don't understand the comment about the right speaker because the speaker connections go through the connector on the back of the android through the wiring harness to the car's speaker wires not through that telematics unit. The issue was that the wiring harness was not created correctly at the factory and had different wires reversed.

Did I miss something in the installation?

Also, you had a thread from DEC 2018 and you gave up unable to figure out the front speak issue. Don't you remember?
