Hi Everyone!

The lease on my 2014 CT200h ended so I got a new 2017 CT in it's place. I love the new car except I'm having trouble with BT phone pairing. On my old CT it would give me the option to choose between pairing the phone or internal audio, or both. The new one only gives me the option for audio connectivity. When I connect via bluetooth my music and apps play sound, but when I try making a phone call it doesn't connect through Bluetooth.The call goes through on my PHONE rather than the car's speakers and I can't even choose an option for sound output through my phone. WHAT IS GOING ON? please help thanks

Got the 2017 CT. I can use my phone Bluetooth to place calls. When is a call, look in your phone what speakers are selected, the select the car speakers

I'd run though the BT Phone setup prompts using the voice control and have it connect from car.

You have to pair the phone as a phone, if you pair it as a audio device you will not get the phone functionality, I messed this up the first time, I simply went in removed my phone as an audio source, and re-added it as a phone and it also addid it as an audio souce as well.

I only found the option available to pair as an audio player but I haven't seen the option to pair as a phone. Are they in the same setup section?

Hello:

I started facing the same problem on my 2012 CT200h - I can setup my phone as audio player but not as a phone.
When I select 'Tune Sel' knob, I only see/hear options for 'BT Setup' and 'System Setup' but not 'Phone Setup'.
I do recall seeing this option earlier but it does not show up anymore. Anyone know if some hardware went bad and if I should be using some 3rd party bluetooth device to overcome this issue?
