Hi All,
I've bought a facelifted 2014 USDM variant with navigation, and I drive it in Belarus (somewhere between Russia and Poland, nevermind :)) where native Lexus maps are not supported at all. Upon each start I get a HU message like "Checking data" with SD icon, which will never disappear automatically - I have to push HOME or MENU . I guess the system checks microSD for some file, and I would like to get rid of that annoying message. Does anybody know what file is anticipated on the flash? May be a dummy file will help .. Or any other workarounds how to disable the check.
Thanks

What happens when you remove the microSD Card?

From what I've found on local forums:
I can't put dummy file to any SD because the card has kind of hardware ID (can only be changed via low level manipulations, reportedly AliExpress sells SDs with blank ID), and it must match the one that car/HU anticipates. Even valid files on SD won't do the trick if this validation fails.
So... I'm not willing to pay $200 to my local official dealer for the compatible SD with proper files, I will press HOME instead : )
Thank you all for attention
