Wow that looks amazing! I love the refresh, front bumper, rear bumper, larger rear spoiler, black roof and shark fin! I'm also glad they finally got rid of the fan blade wheels. I hope they dropped a 2.5 liter into it because then I'd be sold!
I like the back end and hate the spindle grille. I wonder if that is a panoramic roof? that would be awesome. The engine should be the same with 2016 being the target to change the engine somewhat.
hmmmm, i think i'm still a fan of the first gen CT exterior look. I'm the reverse of tennisplayer100 lmao. i like the rear more than the front. i feel that the spindle mouth is too big for the small CT.
i'm personally much more interested in the interior changes!!
I guess I'm too old school/rigid...but I've always thought a bumber should be a bumber. With the direction Lexus and Audi is going, you wouldn't even be able to do a love tap without breaking the grill.
There is no such thing as love tap anymore with the newer cars' bumpers! Any contact is pretty much a $500 to $2000 repair job. My car is going in this week to replace a fog lamp and a fender liner. I drove over a piece of tire flying out from a truck and it torn open the fender liner and knock the fog lamp off. I barely even feel it when it hit the car and dealer wants $600 to repair it. I am having it down at a local body shop for $400, but $300 are parts!
When I was looking at the part prices, I look at all the pieces around the bumper. The bumper is a very very thin piece of plastic.. my phone case is sturdier. A 10 mph front tap will probably be $1200 in parts alone.
Yeah, I gotta say if the one in the pictures is the finished product I'm not really impressed. It looks like the CT and Prius mated and this is their baby. That's just my impression.
I have always liked the body style of the GTI and that's what drew me to the CT. Less zoom, that's for sure but waaaay better mpgs and much more plush.
Well he didn't say that it IS taller; he said that it looks taller, which I agree. I think the combination of the black roof and the angle of the camera shot does make it looks tall... especially the picture of the back. Because the black roof doesn't come all the way to the edge, it visually pull the side up into a void which gives the illusion of the roof being taller.
