There is no such thing as love tap anymore with the newer cars' bumpers! Any contact is pretty much a $500 to $2000 repair job. My car is going in this week to replace a fog lamp and a fender liner. I drove over a piece of tire flying out from a truck and it torn open the fender liner and knock the fog lamp off. I barely even feel it when it hit the car and dealer wants $600 to repair it. I am having it down at a local body shop for $400, but $300 are parts!I guess I'm too old school/rigid...but I've always thought a bumber should be a bumber. With the direction Lexus and Audi is going, you wouldn't even be able to do a love tap without breaking the grill.
Well he didn't say that it IS taller; he said that it looks taller, which I agree. I think the combination of the black roof and the angle of the camera shot does make it looks tall... especially the picture of the back. Because the black roof doesn't come all the way to the edge, it visually pull the side up into a void which gives the illusion of the roof being taller.
