Developed an irritating rattle that seems to be coming from the steering rack when going over rough roads. Also when I turn the steering wheel back and forth there's a 'knocking' sound. Has anyone experienced this?
I'm loathe to bring it back in again as the car has spent a total of 19 days in...
i noticed that my car makes knocking sounds when i go over bumpy roads. sound seems to be coming from steering column / dash area.

My question is whether or not anyone has figured out how to make the Navigation display the Audio screen through the steering wheel buttons?

Planning to wrap my shift knob, dash trim, steering wheel cover and maybe my cover on the no nav compartment with some 3D Di-noc wood vinyl.
Everything seems easy removal except the wheel cover. What's the best way to get it off?
Yesterday I tried to remove the airbag (black piece) out of the steering wheel as I want to wrap the silver plastic part into carbon look vinyl.
But it's not as easy as it looks on the video on youtube how to remoce your steering wheel on a Lexus IS250. I removed the two plastic caps on each...
So the leather on my steering wheel is scratched (small bumpy tears). Not only does it pain me because we've had the car 1 month but is also bothers me while I drive.
Anyone know the cost of replacing the steering wheel? or an alternative that does not involve a cover? Maybe repair it?

Does anyone else feel cold air coming from the steering column. I just noticed it last night when the temperature dropped down to 32 degrees. Even with the heat up high there was still a cold draft blowing on my legs. Is this a defect or is there a quick fix? I want to love this car but...
Even at the highest height adjustment, I'm finding that the steering wheel is too close to my legs (and I don't think I'm a big person). Some Lexus with memory are nice in that the steering wheel automatically moves up & in when you turn the ignition off. Since we don't have that, I'm toying...
Can someone help me understand how to improve the straight-line steering feel of the CT?
I am thinking of buying one, but the vehicle I test drove was very erratic at highway speeds -- it felt more sensitive to slight steering wheel movements than my Prius. :(
I was hoping for steering...

Does anyone see/have the steering wheel with decorative wood insert?
(for example look here http://www.lexus.com.hk/Images/CT200h_ebrochure_2011_tcm240-183234.pdf
I saw it only in Lexus OEM parts catalog, as i understand this kind of wheels also include the "wheel heater" option.
I see in the dash close up on the Reno dealer website a button for (what I am guessing) a heated steering wheel.
Given that the Mark Levinson sound system is also pictured, it makes me think that this might be a UK-only feature.
Is there any information regarding the heated steering wheel...
