  1. New with a couple questions

    New Member Introductions
Hello Just bought a 2014 F Sport yesterday. Had to buy a hybrid for work and this car is about the only car I don't mind the look for a hybrid. Im coming from a slammed 2014 chevy cruze ltz that comes 138hp stock, so not much hp change but a little different with the cvt trans. Just like I...
  2. Maintenance required, coming up on 40,000. Couple of questions.

    Lexus CT200h General Discussion Forum
Hi. Thanks for clicking. I bought a 2013 ct2005h in late May. It was something like 37500 and is coming up on 40,000. I bought from a sort of generic car dealer. Not a Lexus dealership. The fluid were new and the oil was clean. I do not have a manual. I recently started getting a "maintenance...
  3. Couple of things I found.

    Lexus CT200h General Discussion Forum
Having owned my ct200h for a week now I've found two things about it. 2011 SE L Premier Artic Pearl First is the fuel gauge false readings. Tonight it was showing only just above quarter full. I thought I'd brim it but it only took 24 litres until "click" on the pump. Strange. I believe others...
  4. Couple of Oddities (minor complaints or maybe being overly-anal)

    Lexus CT200h General Discussion Forum
No cup holders in the back? Come on. I've ridden back there only once as it's just the wife and I now that the kids are in college. Kinda annoying. Another; pulling the gear select back to go forward and forward to go back. Seems reverse (pun intended). Some newbie could put a pop knot on...
  5. Couple pictures of my white CT

Just had my windows re-tinted, thought I would share. I had the 35% removed and had a 5% strip on the windshield, 10% on the rear window, and 18% on the sides. I'm now debating new wheels. I'm thinking about going with the black tridents but haven't decided for sure.
  6. Thanks for the help! A couple of other quick Qs

    Lexus CT200h General Discussion Forum
Thanks to all for the help on understanding why/when that little "push" is felt by the driver. My wife agrees that it does happen around 45mph and usually when coasting down a gentle slope. She was a bit concerned at first, but the replies here have eased her concern a lot. Couple of quick...

Hi everybody! My name is Grace and I've been shopping around for the Lexus CT with my mom who has amazingly agreed to buy me this as my first car! :) I'm extremely excited but was wondering if you guys could answer a couple of questions for me before I go in and finalize the whole thing...
  9. Something On My Car I Didn't Know...And A Couple of Questions

    Lexus CT200h General Discussion Forum
Something I didn't know about the CT200...when you have the key in your pocket at night and just walk by the car when it's locked, the interior lights light up and so do the lights under the outside mirrors...when you walk away, a few seconds later they go off...very cool for safety reasons and...
  10. A Couple Of Questions About The CT

    Lexus CT200h General Discussion Forum
First, I have seen some pix of cars with the little circles in the bumper which beep when you are getting close to an object. We have these on our Toyota Sienna and I like them (better than the back-up camera). Are they an option on the US version of the CT and what are they called? I know there...
  11. Second test drive - couple concerns

    Lexus CT200h General Discussion Forum
Hi I am deciding with replacing my Subaru Outback with either a new Outback or a CT200h - with all of the driving I do I would save about 485 gallons of gas a year in the CT. A couple of concerns - winter driving and no crash test results - in a word safety. I love the drive, feel and mostly...
